At Driving Miss Daisy, we love Random Acts of Kindness Day. It embodies those special values of love and care that are so important in everything our Daisies do.

So what can you do today to spread joy in the lives of others?

Perhaps you can pay it forward by settling the bill of someone behind you in the café? Maybe you can bake a cake for a neighbour who’s been ill. Or perhaps you can simply share a smile or a chat with a lonely or vulnerable person in your community.

At Driving Miss Daisy, we are all about making a difference in the lives of elderly, disabled and vulnerable members of our community through our warm and friendly companion driving service. We help our clients get out into the community to lived enriched and happier lives.

Driving Miss Daisy is unique driving companion service for elderly, disabled or vulnerable people. Our Daisies will pick you up from your front door, accompany you on your trip out and bring you back home, ensuring you are safely returned to your home.

Festive Wellness Tips for a Healthy Christmas!

The holiday season is a time for joy, connection and plenty of delicious treats - but it can also be a time when routines slip and wellbeing takes a back seat. For older Australians, a few simple steps can make the season both merry and healthy:

Stay hydrated - with warmer days and busy gatherings, remember to drink plenty of water between festive drinks.

Balance the treats - enjoy your favourite Christmas goodies but try to mix in lighter meals with fresh fruit and vegetables.

Less rushing, more enjoying – that’s what Driving Miss Daisy brings to the festive season!

The lead-up to the holidays can feel like a whirlwind - there are errands to run, appointments to keep and always one more thing to tick off the list. For many people, that pressure can feel overwhelming, especially if they need support with getting around.

But with a Daisy on your team, the errands get easier! We can plan a simple loop that covers everything you need – Christmas presents, the chemist, post office, GP, grocery shop or even a quick stop for last minute essentials. Your companion driver will wait, lend a hand with bags and make sure you’re home safely when it’s all done.
