One of our valued employees Max, posted this on his personal Facebook today. For those who don’t know Max, he has Cerebral Palsy but it doesn’t hold him back, being a gun operator on any machine or in any size truck. Max is inspirational to anyone he meets, and just a genuine nice guy. Thanks Max for allowing us to share this.

❤️DATING LIFE WITH CEREBRAL PALSY❤️
Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love which can be a beautiful thing but for some single people it can be a sad and depressing day, and we’re left wondering if/when we will be lucky enough to meet someone special. I know dating and relationships are hard for anyone but I think having a disability makes it that much harder. Apart from my close friends and family, most of you probably don’t know that, except for a few months last year, I have been single my whole life and I believe it’s undeniable that having cerebral palsy has played a big role in this. Some of you may say it’s easier that way, less drama, less commitment, the freedom to do what I want, and yes, fair enough but I’ve lived like that for years and I’m sick of single life!! I’ve been on the dating apps on and off for years with little success, apart from a short term fling which were 3 of the best months of my life but sadly ended.
The message I want to send out to everyone is that if you ladies and gentlemen get an opportunity to go out on a date with someone with different abilities, DO IT! I obviously can’t speak for everyone but in terms of myself, I may look weird, move around awkwardly and look completely ‘unkissable’ but inside I’m a really nice, caring and respectful guy who is fully capable of having a meaningful emotional and physical relationship if you give me a chance to show you who I really am ❤️
