All the way from Maui Hawaii🏝️to Gold Coast Queensland☀️ it’s been a long time coming but Rufus is now finally with hisgrandmama on the Gold Coast 🐾🐾✈️🌎 due to limited flight options and no longer any direct flight travel from Hawaii to Melbourne logistics can be be complex and carefully planned. Rufus travelled via New Zealand to reach Melbourne & avoided backtracking to the USA mainland!

After numerous cancelled flights, heat restrictions and airline operational issues Enid is finally in her fur-ever home. From Adelaide to Melbourne to Brisbane to Los Angeles to Seattle to Pittsburg !! We finally made it! Thank you to her breeder and new owners for the opportunity to es**rt Enid, she’s so beautiful and I loved caring for her ❤️🐾

We made it! After 2 flight cancellations and having to unexpectedly fly via Brisbane we are now in LA with Enid the little whippet. 1 night comfort stop here in LA then Enid will embark on the final leg of her long journey to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. We thank our friends at Tailwind for their customs clearance and assistance getting to the hotel 🐾✈️🌎🇺🇸

Getting pets out of Florida during the summer is no easy task! Between heat embargoes, airline crate-size restrictions, temperature limits (pets can only fly when it's below 85°F/29°C), and having just one airline option within the USA, every journey requires careful planning. Otherwise, the only alternative is days of road travel to reach Los Angeles which we do not want!
A huge thank you to Cindy L. Johnston-Bennett for travelling to Florida and making these journeys possible. These precious fur babies are now on their way home to their families in Australia after an incredible trip from Orlando, Florida, all the way to Melbourne Australia.
