Daffodil Smart City and Daffodil International University officially inaugurated the Dewan Bari–Kakabo–Dattapara–DSC Road in Ashulia, marking a major milestone in strengthening regional connectivity, promoting local economic development, and advancing the vision of a smarter and more sustainable community.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin, Honourable Member of Parliament for Dhaka-19 (Savar–Ashulia), as the chief guest. Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, along with distinguished university officials, local representatives, academicians, and community members, were also present at the event.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Dewan Mohammad Salauddin emphasized the vital role of modern infrastructure and improved connectivity in enhancing the quality of life, creating greater opportunities in education, business, and employment, and accelerating the planned development of Ashulia as a growing smart region.

This initiative reflects the visionary leadership of Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of DIU, whose commitment to sustainable urban development, innovation, education, and technology continues to drive the transformation of the area into an inclusive and future-ready smart community.
