Alberta Motor Transport Association

Alberta Motor Transport Association The AMTA and its members have advanced the commercial transportation industry through safety programs, progressive policy and partnerships.

The Alberta Motor Transport Association is a province-wide, not-for-profit Association formed to provide a voice for the highway transportation industry in Alberta. Our influence is evident on every highway—where the work we do, the training and expertise we impart, becomes clear-cut confidence behind the wheel. As a province-wide, not-for-profit association with offices in Calgary and Edmonton, t

he AMTA is governed by a Board of Directors, elected annually. Our Board determines the AMTA’s long-term goals, and sets our policies, programs and budgets.

The volunteers we have each year for AMTA’s Professional Truck Driving Championship are the only reason we can keep this event rolling. We had a few less than we've had in previous years, and every single one of you who volunteered this year stepped up to the plate and made an amazing contribution to a fantastic day!

We couldn't have done it without you and all your smiling faces. A HUGE thank you to all of you!
