Looking for holiday cards? TTCriders has you covered! Cartoonist Jade Armstrong has created a beautiful card in support of better public transit.

Donate to claim your cards: www.ttcriders.ca/holidaycard

Place your order by Tuesday night at 11:59pm for the earliest delivery. When you order by Tuesday at 11:59pm, we will ship the cards to you on Thursday, December 1st so you receive them as soon as possible.

Jade's artwork captures the joy of collective action and the beauty of a winter day. The image of transit users pushing a bus stuck in snow reminds us that the TTC faces challenges -- but when we come together to push for better transit, we win!

[image ID 5/7: white and yellow text on purple background reads: "These 12 City Councillors committed to lower TTC fares for low-income residents in 2023"]

13 Councillors have promised to protect the TTC from cuts. They need a reminder: Use our online tool to send the message that you will be watching how they vote on this issue! www.ttcriders.ca/budget2023

Mayor John Tory & 12 Councillors haven't yet promised that they will oppose TTC cuts. They need to hear from you! Ask them to commit NOW to protect the TTC from cuts and lower fares by increasing City funding for transit: www.ttcriders.ca/budget2023

City Councillors are voting on January 9th, 2023 about the TTC's budget. With the TTC facing budget shortfalls, fare increases and service cuts could be on the agenda -- that's why your Councillor needs to hear from you! Remind them of their promises made before the election, or ask them to commit now to protect the TTC from cuts.

TTCriders sent a survey to all City Council candidates before the election about transit issues. To learn how your Councillor answered all the questions, visit www.ttcriders.ca/newcouncil

You can also have a say by signing up to speak directly to City Councillors at the TTC Board meeting on January 9th, 2023: https://forms.gle/h7u98sYFoVqLPsKf8

Join us Wednesday, February 15th at 9am to ask City Council to and fund a Toronto that works for everyone! Meet in front of City Hall main doors (100 Queen Street West, aka Nathan Phillips Square).

TTCriders speakers will share why we're asking City Council to invest more in the TTC to fund supportive staff and stop service cuts and fare increases. Paying more for less service will not make the TTC safer.

If you can't make it, send a message to your Councillor before they vote on Wednesday: www.ttcriders.ca/budget2023

Did you know that in 1990 bus fares were $1.00? and in 2023 it is now $3.30! That is over a 300% fare hike! Much higher than the level of inflation. Is that fair?
