We are equipping our Gulfstream G650ER with ELT-DT (Emergency Locator Transmitter – Distress Tracking). ✈️🚨

This system transmits the aircraft’s position to the relevant authorities in the event of an emergency or abnormal flight condition, helping them initiate search and rescue operations. For aircraft in this category, its installation is now a regulatory requirement.

What sounds like a single system involves a significant amount of engineering and hands-on work: drilling new holes, installing structural reinforcements, routing cables and integrating new computers.

👉🏻 What makes this project particularly special? Our aircraft is among the first G650ER to receive this system.

Of course, we are making the most of the downtime by carrying out other scheduled maintenance tasks and repairs as well.

This is what complex aircraft maintenance is all about: anticipating requirements, solving technical challenges and paying attention to every detail.

Aircraft management is about more than keeping an aircraft ready to fly.

When an owner entrusts us with their aircraft, they are entrusting us with a valuable asset. And protecting that asset goes far beyond maintenance and preserving its condition.

Security is a key part of that responsibility.

At our hangars in Stuttgart and Munich/Oberpfaffenhofen, we take a layered approach to security, from 24/7 camera surveillance and professional security services at our headquarters to trusted security partners on site and dedicated intrusion protection.

Much of this work happens quietly in the background. It is not something you necessarily notice when everything is working as it should.

👉🏻 But that’s the point.
