I don’t quote cheap to get the job and then on the day bump the price !
I’m honest and upfront with you and don’t try to deceive you or miss lead you or add additional hidden costs to your delivery…
So why do people think that it’s ok to do the equivalent to me from a customers side ?
Is it because I’m a small business and you think that it’s ok to try scam businesses?
Today after a new enquiry for a price, I asked what this person needed to move so I can give them the correct cost.
Because their collection would be 5 mins from my previous job, and wasn’t a large amount of things, I gave them a very good price to move their things based on the list they provided.
Only for them to send their booking details and turn around and offer me an extra £1 to add an undisclosed number of additional boxes to the job.
Additional things mean additional work, which takes additional time !
An additional £1 isn’t going to pay the additional wages for 2 Men for an additional 30 minutes on the job !!
My price was obviously a lot lower than any other quotes he had received otherwise he wouldn’t have been trying to book me.
Yet he was still trying it on !
Needless to say, I’m now unavailable for his move.
