We transport motorcycles for private owners, dealerships, workshops, auctions and collectors, including purchased, sold, classic, custom, non-running and high-value bikes. Every motorcycle is transported by Eric personally in our purpose-built Mercedes Sprinter, equipped with a full-width ramp, wheel chocks, professional tie-downs and protective blankets. Another varied week on the road for ETS Motorbike Transport - here's a taste of what Darcy, our van, has been carrying:

Three wheels, two with no petrol at all, a classic two-stroke and a couple of superbikes - not a bad mix for one week. The Zero and the Maeving were the quietest passengers Darcy has had in a while.

Whatever you ride, every bike gets the same treatment - strapped down properly, handled with care and delivered door to door.

This week Eric delivered a motorbike to London as a wedding present - a surprise from a new bride to her husband. We kept the secret, got the bike there safely on a Sunday and left the happy couple to enjoy the moment. Congratulations to you both.

It's not the first special occasion we've been part of. We've taken a bike to a puja ceremony to be blessed for safe journeys. We've collected a bike so she could be at the funeral of the man who restored her - one last time together.

So if you need a bike moved for a wedding, a birthday, a celebration, a show, a photoshoot or a goodbye - we'd be honoured to help. Every bike is securely loaded, fully insured and handled with care by Eric, an experienced biker and mechanic.

🌧️ Protecting Your Motorcycle – Whatever the British Weather!

When you're trusted with prestige, classic, restored and high value motorcycles, getting them safely from A to B is only part of the job.

At ETS Motorbike Transport, our motorcycles travel securely inside our fully enclosed van. However, there's one part of motorcycle transport we can't control – the British weather during loading and unloading!

That's why we've invested in a specialist Bike Blanket.

🏍️ Allows the motorcycle to be manoeuvred while covered
🏍️ Helps protect suitable bikes during wet weather loading and unloading
🏍️ An additional layer of protection for your pride and joy

Before we had the Bike Blanket, if a customer's motorcycle got caught in the rain, Eric would spend time carefully drying it before delivery or waited for a break in the rain. We'd much rather help prevent it getting wet in the first place.

It won't fit every motorcycle we transport, but where it's suitable, we'll use it and the bike must be clean.

We regularly transport sports bikes, classic motorcycles, restored bikes, prestige motorcycles and collectors' machines throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and across England & Wales.

It's another investment we've made in our equipment because professional motorcycle transport isn't just about moving a bike.

🏍️ CHEAP MOTORCYCLE TRANSPORT – IS SAVING £50 REALLY WORTH THE RISK?

This photograph was passed to Eric by one of our customers after he sold a motorcycle from his collection. The buyer arranged their own transport. We were quite horrified hence the post.

This is what turned up to collect it - see photo. 😳

The motorcycle was laid down in the back of a general purpose van amongst carpet and other items.

When Eric later arrived to transport another motorcycle from the same collection, the customer was surprised by the difference in how we operate at ETS.

Our dedicated motorcycle transport van has non slip flooring, wheel chocks, specialist straps designed to avoid damaging fairings, a full width 3m ramp, internal and external lighting plus a camera allowing Eric to monitor the motorcycles throughout the journey.

Then there are the things you can't see – our specialist Goods in Transit insurance specifically covering motorcycles, Eric's experience and knowledge plus our electronic collection and delivery forms with signatures and photographic records.

We often hear “someone else can do it £50–£75 cheaper.”

And they probably can.

But are you comparing like for like?

Darcy Two is officially on the road!

We've still got a few finishing touches to get her fully up to our usual standard, but honestly, things have been so busy that we've had to put her into service a little sooner than planned. We don't think that's a bad thing though. It means our customers keep getting their bikes exactly when they need them, which will always come first for us.

Busy really is the word. Locally we've covered Clare, Glemsford, Great Waldingfield, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Colchester, Felixstowe, Hockering in Norfolk, Billericay in Essex, plus Wickford too.

Further afield the Midlands and the North have kept us on our toes - Leicester, Hinckley, Nottingham, Stamford, Grimsby, Beeford near Hull, Halifax, Wilmslow, plus a run over to Denbigh in North Wales.

Down on the south coast we've covered Ramsgate in Kent, Fareham in Hampshire, Sandbanks in Dorset, Yeovil in Somerset, Pembroke in Wales, plus a trip into London to Chiswick.

The finishing touches will get done along the way - Darcy Two is out there earning her stripes already.
