⚠️⛽ A GENUINE CONCERN FOR SMALL TRANSPORT BUSINESSES ⛽⚠️

We’ve seen some frightening headlines suggesting diesel could potentially reach £3 a litre. To be clear, £3 is not the current UK price and isn’t a certainty. But the underlying situation is worrying: the RAC reported average diesel at 197.31p a litre on 23 September, just below the previous record, and warned that an average above £2 now looks increasingly difficult to avoid without a sustained fall in oil prices.

For a business like Tacsi Huw, fuel isn’t a luxury — it keeps our taxis and minibuses on the road every day. School runs, hospital appointments, airport transfers, nights out and getting local people where they need to be all depend on it.

Like every local taxi company, haulier, delivery driver and other diesel-dependent business, continually rising fuel costs put enormous pressure on operating costs.

💚 We’ll continue doing everything we can to provide the reliable, competitive local service our customers have supported for so many years.

💚 Thinking of everyone involved at RAF Valley today. 💚

Very sad and worrying news from our local community following reports of an RAF aircraft crash, with two pilots reported injured.

From all of us at Tacsi Huw, our thoughts are with the pilots, their families and friends, and everyone at RAF Valley during what must be an incredibly difficult and worrying time.

We’re also thinking of the emergency services and all those responding to the incident. ❤️

Wishing both pilots strength and a full recovery.
