Pricing Update 🤍
A little update for all of my lovely clients…
From 1st October 2026, there will be some changes to the way my services are priced and booked.
I want to be completely open and honest about this, as I know for some clients the new prices may feel like quite a jump.
Over the years, I’ve always tried to keep price increases to a minimum and absorb as many of the rising costs of running the salon as I possibly can. However, I’ve recently sat down and properly worked through the finances of the business and realised that our current pricing structure simply isn’t sustainable.
There have been many occasions where, once you take into account the time spent on an appointment, products used and all of the costs involved in running the salon, the amount left for my actual time has worked out at less than even a basic hourly wage. That’s something I can no longer continue to do if I want the salon to remain sustainable.
Another issue with our old pricing structure is that services were often packaged together. This meant that additional services such as toners, treatments, extra colour or finishing services could sometimes be missed off the final bill. Over time, this has meant that we haven’t always been charging correctly for everything that is being provided.
Therefore from October, I’m moving to a much clearer service + add-on pricing structure.
For example, rather than a T-section automatically including a cut and blow-dry, the T-section will have its own price. You will then have the option of a complimentary blast dry, with the option to add a wet cut or cut & blow-dry for an additional charge.
I’m also introducing Fresha for online bookings, which will make everything much clearer when booking and will ensure the correct services and add-ons are selected.
I completely appreciate that for some of you this will be a noticeable change, and I haven’t made the decision lightly. Many of you have been coming to me for years and have become much more than just clients as you’re friends, and I genuinely value every single one of you. ❤️
I’ve always wanted to keep my prices as reasonable as possible, but I also need to make sure that the salon is financially sustainable and that the time, expertise, products and services being provided are being valued correctly.
This isn’t simply a case of putting my prices up for the sake of it. It’s about creating a pricing structure that properly reflects what is being provided and allows the business to continue moving forward.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support, understanding and loyalty. It genuinely means the world to me. 🤍
The new pricing will apply to all appointments from 1st October onwards.
If you’re unsure which service to book, please don’t worry, I’m always happy to help you choose the right option. 🤍
I also understand this might not now align with all my clients and i completely respect that
as always a massive thank you
lots of love Kerenza
