Essential maintenance is being carried out on the M8 starting from Monday 7 March for 12 weeks, Transport Scotland have advised.
The works will take place between junctions 30 and 31 (Erskine, Bishopton and Langbank) and there be be traffic management will be in place 24/7 to allow day and night working.
The majority of works will be carried out during the day by closing an offside lane in both west and eastbound directions.
Overnight works will take place on 7 to 8 March, 16 to 18 March and 21 to 22 March, subject to the weather.
The central reserve barrier will be upgraded and existing structures protected to improve safety and decrease the risk of incident or injury.
A temporary barrier will be put in place as the existing centre barrier will be removed and a temporary 40mph speed limit will be in effect throughout the duration of the works.
