We would like to take a moment to remind everyone that Rid-xl is predominantly a pre-booked taxi service. Although you can request an ASAP booking through the app, please be aware that your driver may take a little longer to accept or reach your booking.
From the very beginning, our aim has been to bring independent local businesses together to help rebuild trust, reliability and confidence within our local communities. ❤️
🚸 Please be mindful of school start and finish times.
During these periods, many of our drivers are busy serving their regular local customers, meaning the number of available drivers can temporarily decrease. As a result, you may experience a slight delay in getting your booking accepted.
🙏 We kindly ask for your patience and understanding. If you request an ASAP booking, we will do our best to get a driver to you as soon as possible.
📅 Why do we recommend pre-booking?
Pre-booking allows us to see demand in advance, plan driver availability and call upon our trusted subcontractors for additional assistance. Many of these drivers work outside the usual school-run hours, so having advance notice helps us organise cover and provide a better service for everyone.
We are a community of independent businesses working together, and your continued support makes that possible.
