I am very pleased to announce that Cree Cabs can now accept the VOUCHERS as part of the Dumfries and Galloway Council Taxicard scheme to either pay for or reduce the cost of journeys.

Unfortunately this does NOT include the Taxicards that many have opted for but my understanding from the council is that IF the taxi cards have still got a full balance, and therefore have not been used, then you can request a switch to the vouchers through the council.

Please get in contact if you have any queries about this scheme, how to use the vouchers or to make a booking, and we will be happy to assist you.

Please also help to get the word out to those that maybe don’t have access to social media to let them know so that everyone who is included in, or could benefit from this scheme, can make full use of it.

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope this year brings everything you can hope and wish for! Cree Cabs is closed this weekend for a break, and will return to normal on Monday.

Our operating days over Christmas and New Year are as follows:

Wednesday 24th - Working
Thursday 25th - CLOSED
Friday 26th - Working (Seasonal Fares)
Saturday 27th - Working
Sunday 28th - Working
Monday 29th - Working
Tuesday 30th - Working
Wednesday 31st - Working (Seasonal Fares after 10pm)
Thursday 1st - Working (Seasonal Fares)
Friday 2nd - Working (Seasonal Fares)
Saturday 3rd - CLOSED
Sunday 4th - CLOSED

(Seasonal fares are a 1/3 increase, eg £4.50 local is £6.00 on those days)

Please bare with us when phoning as there are times when we can’t get to every call, especially when it is exceptionally busy. We always try to phone everyone back and get as many customers as we can.

Here we go! Cree Cabs is back on the road!

Apologies to everyone that has been unable to get me for a taxi over the last week or so whilst I have been waiting for this temporary car to arrive and be tested by the council.

Unfortunately the taxi is off the road at the moment after being hit in the town centre this morning. A replacement taxi is being sourced by the insurance company whilst this one is being fixed, but won’t be available and licensed by the council immediately. I will let everyone know when the taxi side is back on the road.

This does not affect the delivery van that is still available for takeaway deliveries and for any local businesses that would like to deliver any products to their customers!

I am please to announce that we now have a van operating for deliveries in the local area!

* TAKEAWAY DELIVERIES - let us deliver your meal from your favourite takeaway! Available on Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday and only £4 delivery around Newton Stewart and Minigaff. Creetown, Wigtown, Kirkcowan £9, and Glentrool £12.
