Very sad to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton. ❤️

Earlier this year, during a visit to The King’s Theatre, we were lucky enough to get a glimpse behind the scenes and hear some of the stories held within this incredible building.

One that stuck with us was Dolly Parton, who performed on the King’s stage as part of the Royal Variety Performance in 1977. Her photograph still hangs proudly in the theatre today.

It felt like a lovely piece of history to discover at the time, and all the more poignant today.

An extraordinary artist, songwriter and storyteller whose legacy will live on for generations. ❤️
