🚗💨 Healthy Drivers, Safe Roads!

Pulse EXCO members recently attended the official launch of the Program Pemandu Sihat dan Selamat (PSS) at JPJ WP Kuala Lumpur.

Officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Ramanan Ramakrishnan (Minister of Human Resources) and YB Tuan Loke Siew F**k (Minister of Transport), this landmark initiative under Belanjawan MADANI 2026 is set to benefit 30,000 commercial drivers nationwide.

Here are the quick takeaways from today’s launch:

• 💰 RM55 Subsidy: Eligible drivers only pay RM30 for a comprehensive medical examination.

• 🏥 Thorough Screenings: Covers physical health, vision, hearing, sleep disorder screenings (OSA), and HbA1c tests for diabetes.

• ⚡Seamless Integration: Medical results will be sent digitally to JPJ’s MySikap system—no more manual paperwork for vocational license renewals!

• 👥 Who qualifies? Malaysian citizens aged 40–59, who are active PERKESO contributors holding PSV/GDL Class E licenses.

Kudos to KESUMA, MOT, and PERKESO for prioritizing the health and safety of our transport sector! 🙌
