Strava | Run and Cycling Tracking on the Social Network for Athletes

Have you heard of the Strava app? Not only is it a great way to track your bike riding, walking, hiking, and/or running, but MRMPO is able to use this data (which is aggregated and de-identified) to help improve our walking and bicycling facilities and networks. The more people who use it, the better our data! You can download the app here: https://www.strava.com/.

Designed by athletes, for athletes, Strava’s mobile app and website connect millions of runners and cyclists through the sports they love.

Happy National Bike Month! The weather is beautiful, there are fewer cars on the roads...now is a great time to get out on your bike. And if it's been a while and your bike needs some work, bike shops are considered essential businesses and are open but do have some COVID-related limitations so you might want to check out their websites or give a call before going there.

Our hearts are with her family in Pennsylvania. Pedestrian casualties are a tragedy and are preventable. That is why cities across the nation aspire to "eliminate all traffic fatalities and severe injuries" through the Vision Zero initiative. In metro Albuquerque, we are working towards this goal to honor the memory of people like Barbara Como who are taken too soon.
