MRMPO - 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan MRMPO undertakes long-range transportation planning for the region, including development of the long-range transportation plan, the Futures 2040 MTP.

The Mid-Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (MRMPO), housed within the Mid-Region Council of Governments, performs long-range transportation planning for the region. A key product of the MPO's is the 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan that helps determine what our transportation system will look like. The Mid-Region Metropolitan Planning Organization leads the planning effort with significant input and guidance from other stakeholders including member agencies, partner organizations, and the general public.All modes of transportation are considered as part of the planning process.

‪📢 TOMORROW we will host a public meeting on the Rail Yards from 6pm-8pm at B’Ruppe. City of Albuquerque staff from Environmental Health, Family & Community Services, Department of Municipal Development, Albuquerque Film Office, and Metropolitan Redevelopment will be available to answer questions. Mark your calendars! This Thursday evening, October 18th, MRMPO is hosting the first of three public kick-off meetings for the update to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The meeting will be at the South Valley Multi-Purpose Senior Center at 2008 Larrazolo Rd SW, ABQ. It will take place from 5:30-7pm. The presentation will start at 6pm, but before that, attendees are invited to check out display boards and interactive maps and chat with MRMPO staff members. Come learn more about the MTP and share your thoughts on transportation!
