One of my followers on this page advised me of a negative review I received on this page. In six years, and over 14,000 rides, I have a 5.0 rating on Lyft, a 4.99 on Uber, and perfect ratings on Asheville Taxi (who I no longer drive for).
In case you saw it, the gentleman who gave me a negative review said that I refused service to him. I have never simply refused service to anyone, and always strive to give the best taxi service in the city.
The gentleman in question asked for a rate on a ride. He told me he received another quote for $8 less and I should match it. I told him that I am very competitively priced and I understand if he wishes to go with another company, and that I appreciate the consideration either way.
He then went on to message me twice more asking me to reduce my price. I told him I could not do that.
Three days later, he messaged me the day before his ride and told me that the company that gave him the better rate canceled on him and he wanted my ride service. By then, the time slot he wanted was filled. He got angry with me and asked if I would cancel on the other ride, and of course, I told him I could not do that as the passenger was confirmed.
Then, a negative rating on my page saying that I refused him service.
I asked him to take it down as it was unfair. He told me my taxi service was "utter bu****it" and then told me he is going to let people know not to go with me as he is well-connected and I made a huge mistake.
I blocked him from this page. And for those that saw the review, it was not true in the least.
Thank you Facebook for erasing that review from my ratings. And to those who have given me a fair rating, I am quite appreciative.
