Celebrating the Drivers Who Keep Us Moving!

It’s National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, and we’re taking a moment to recognize one of the many great drivers who make Mile Marker Logistics what it is.

Meet Joseph Eguavoen— a trusted and reliable member of the Mile Marker family for many years. With more than a decade behind the wheel, Joseph has become someone our team knows we can count on, including when it comes to handling some of our largest national accounts.

His day often starts around 1:00 a.m. and runs well into the daylight hours. But Joseph has a great attitude about it. As he says, “Interesting hours keep the job interesting!”

Originally from Nigeria, Joseph made Atlanta home in the mid-’90s and has built his career behind the wheel. He says he’s “grateful to be part of the Mile Marker family” and can’t imagine doing anything else.

Joseph is dependable, safety-first, friendly and always brings a little cheerfulness for the ride. We’re lucky to have him — and just as lucky to have a team of drivers who care about their work and take pride in doing the job right.

Not every delivery fits in a box!

We were honored to partner with our friends at the Georgia Aquarium on a very important mission! Nunavik, the beloved beluga whale was safely transported to his new home at Mystic Aquarium with the utmost care and precision. What a spectacular team effort for a very a special passenger!
