The BIRD FAQ:
1. How can I ensure I get you as my driver when I book through Uber?
While there’s no guarantee, if I’m online and active on Uber, there’s a good chance you’ll be assigned to me. However, it’s not always guaranteed due to the dynamic nature of the platform.
2. Can I directly book your services without using the Uber app?
Unfortunately, direct bookings aren’t available. My availability is solely managed through the Uber platform. However, you can reach out via text, and if I’m able to go online, you can try to book me through the app.
3. What if I need a ride at a specific time? Do you take scheduled bookings?
As a specialty, I focus on providing on-demand services. I don’t take scheduled bookings, but if I’m available and online, you can try to request me via the Uber app.
4. How can I check if you’re available to take a ride if you’re not online on Uber?
Feel free to send me a text, and if I’m able to go online, I’ll let you know. Then, you can try to book me through the Uber app if I’m available at that time.
5. What if I can’t find you on the app but need your services urgently?
If you can’t find me online, sending a text message might help. I’ll do my best to accommodate and let you know if I can go online to provide the ride.
6. Are there any specific hours or locations where you’re more likely to be available?
My availability varies, but I strive to be online during peak hours or in areas with higher demand. However, this isn’t guaranteed, so checking the app or contacting me directly could help.
7. What should I do if I’ve texted you, but you’re unable to go online at that time?
I’ll try my best to communicate my availability promptly. If I can’t go online, I’ll let you know immediately so you can find alternative transportation options.
8. Can I request specific services or accommodations through this indirect booking process?
The services offered are in line with the standard options available through the Uber app. Unfortunately, specific requests or accommodations can’t be guaranteed through this indirect booking method.
9. Is there a way to know if you’re the assigned driver before confirming the ride?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to guarantee the assignment until the booking is confirmed through the app. If I’m available and online, you have a chance of being assigned to me upon booking.
