“We need to avoid the temptation, in the name of the recovery of the economy, to go back to intensive use of fossil fuels or intensive use of cars,” says Maria Neira, director of environment, climate change and health at the World Health Organization.
In the United States, more investment is required in high-capacity, energy efficient trains if we truly want to curb our carbon emissions. Along the Northeast Corridor, trafficked by millions each year, Northeast Maglev is promising to do just this.

Over the weekend, Northeast Maglev joined the Transformation Church in hosting a free voter registration event in Northeast Baltimore. The event encouraged individuals to get out and make a difference in their communities, in preparation for the upcoming election, by providing them with an opportunity to register to vote. Our team was proud to be a part of this successful event and to donate 400 masks to support the church’s outreach in the future. #SCMAGLEV #Community
We spy some members of our team! 💙🧡
Thank you to everyone that came to volunteer and be a part of our Voter Registration & Free Headshot 📸 event today! Here are a few images from when the event started. Be on the lookout for more events like this in the future! Join us tomorrow at 11am for our Parking Lot service! #Baltimore #TCJC

Central Japan Railway Company (#JRCentral) has officially started test runs of its Series L0 (L-zero) improved version Superconducting Maglev (#SCMAGLEV) train vehicles.
The latest version of the Series L0 improves on the existing L0 by reducing air resistance, power consumption, and noise emissions.
On August 19, JR Central conducted a test run of the new Series L0 that topped out at 342 miles per hour! A day later, running distances were extended for the new vehicles to verify function and stability of ground facilities and on-board equipment.
Japan Central Railway introduces an improved Series L-zero SCMAGLEV. A new aerodynamic shape and innovative power induction system make it more efficient.
We’re dreaming of a greener future! The SCMAGLEV will provide generations to come with a fast and reliable method of transportation that encourages green travel. This #CarFreeDay help us to make that dream a reality by letting your legislators know that you are onboard for #SCMAGLEV! #ImOnBoard #GreenTravel https://zcu.io/u3kt
Your Texas High-Speed Train is two steps closer to construction as the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has released the pre-publication version of the final Rule of Particular Applicability (RPA) and the Record of Decision (ROD), marking major achievements...
“This is the moment we have been working towards,” Carlos Aguilar, CEO of Texas Central, said in the press release. “The release of the final RPA and ROD by the Federal Railroad Administration represents years of work by countless individuals, affirming a very thorough and careful federal regulatory process that will make the Texas Central Railroad the first high-speed rail system to be implemented in the United States.”
What does this mean: Texas Central's Build Alternative A has been selected by the Federal Railroad Administration as the best path forward and the final Rules of Particular Applicability (regulations that apply to a specific railroad or a specific type of operation) have been released.
This is a great step forward for the United States in moving towards a cleaner, greener future for our families!
