The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) CityLYNX Gold Line is the streetcar system that is being constructed in phases. Smith University to Sunnyside Ave at Hawthorne Ln. This weekend, crews will be installing pavement markings along the Gold Line Phase 2 alignment. The work will take place during the overnight hours, 8 p.m.-7 a.m., on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (July 9, 10 and 11). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
