We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a busy intermodal account running Rail-to-Rail and Rail-to-Customer freight. This is a mixed workflow (XT / Local / Regional) position — steady freight for drivers who want to work and make money.

This account is Home Daily with consistent year-round work.

💰 PAY & STATUS
• Average Take-Home: $1,300 – $1,800+ per week
• 1099 Position
• Paid Orientation
• Paid Truck Inspection

• Intermodal – Rail2Rail & Rail2Customer
• Home Daily – Chicago & Midwest Market
• Mixed Lanes: XT • Local • Regional
• 20’ / 40’ / 53’ Containers

🔹 DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 2 Years Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 Months Intermodal Experience
• Must have experience with: BNSF, CSX, CN, CP, NS, UP
• Must be able to work minimum 5 full days per week
• 6th day optional for extra income
• Must be willing to run local AND regional lanes
• No lane restrictions or picky drivers — this is a mixed operation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Clean record required
• No DUI
• No SAP

💰 BONUSES
• Productivity Bonus
Run 6 days OR gross $6,000+ per week = $100 weekly bonus
• Annual Loyalty Bonus
Paid on your 53rd week with Pearl Knight Fleet Up to $1,800
• Roadside Safety Bonus

🔁 WORKFLOW EXPECTATIONS

Drivers must be professional and experienced in intermodal operations:
• Efficiently enter and exit rail yards
• Properly secure containers and chassis
• Perform PTI thoroughly before dispatch
• Communicate clearly with dispatch:
• ETAs
• Delays
• Next available time daily
• Pre-plan to meet customer appointment times

About the Job

Pearl Knight Transportation is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers for our Amazon Relay division.
We provide consistent work, steady income, and home every other day for dependable, safety-focused professionals.

Pay & Benefits

💰 Average Take-Home: $1,350–$2,000 per week

🏠 Home Every Other Day – Local routes (50–300-mile radius)

🚛 Equipment: 2013–2020 Volvo Automatics (clean, DOT Level 1 ready)

📅 Schedule: 5–6 days per week (60–70 hours available)

⚙️ 24/7 Dispatch and Maintenance Support

Bonuses & Incentives

Weekly Performance Bonus

Earn $100 per week for working six full days or reaching $6,000 in weekly gross.

Must maintain on-time performance, safety compliance, and accident-free record.

Annual Safety Bonus

After 53 weeks of employment, receive an annual bonus equal to your average weekly paycheck for the year.

Must be accident-free and in good standing.

Driver Requirements

✅ Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience with 53’ Dry Van

✅ Clean MVR – no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years

✅ No DUI or SAP history

Driver Responsibilities

Provide ETAs, BOLs, PODs, and container photos promptly

Operate ELD correctly and follow all HOS regulations

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Report equipment or maintenance issues immediately

Arrive early and maintain professional conduct with customers and dispatch

Pearl Knight Transportation and DBW Knight Inc. are currently seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for Intermodal Rail to Customer and Rail to Rail positions, offering daily home returns. These roles involve a mix of local and regional runs within a 50-300 mile radius. Our drivers average a weekly take-home pay of $1,350-$2,000.

Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years of CDL experience with a background in rail work, specifically with CSX, NS, BNSF, CN, CP, and Global.
* A clean Motor Vehicle Record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years.
* No DUI or SAP programs.
* Willingness to work a minimum of 5 days per week, with the ability to commit to 60-70 hours weekly.
