Exciting news! The boat is getting painted and tuned up for the season. Expect Captain Hynson and the River Taxi to sail Friday thru Sunday May 03, May 10 and May 17 weekends, then Tuesday through Sunday, starting May 21 for remainder of the season. Come on board and enjoy!

Summer is still here and a great time for a ride on Wilmington River Taxi!! Jump on board at the many stops on the Christina River for an easy, breezy cruise.

Special cruise Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 7:00pm!! We will meet at 6:30pm at the Dravo Plaza on the Riverfront, near the outlets. There will be two huge dredging cranes right beside each other. We will leave the post at 7:00pm and the tide will be coming in. The birds are very active at this time. We should also be able to get great sunset shots when we return. It should be a great evening.

***Cost is $20/person. Please pay Captain Hynson directly when boarding.

We have seen ospry, eagles, egrets, several types of cranes and other water fowl, along with turtles.

There will also be fireworks at the Blue Rocks game at the conclusion for the Judy Johnson celebration, in recognition of the Negro League baseball players and some surviving players usually attend the games. They are just along the way from when we exit the boat.

There are numerous restaurants with outside seating right along the riverfront afterwards.

I look forward to seeing everyone aboard the River Taxi tomorrow!!!
