Hello Nevada County,

I wanted to take a moment to share an update with you all. For those who have been following us since the beginning, you know how much Gold Country Hauling was inspired by our dog, Kilo. Many of you supported himā€”whether through jobs, donations, kind words, or simply following his journeyā€”as he went through surgery to repair his legs.

Iā€™m happy to share that Kilo successfully received all the surgeries he needed and made a full recovery. Heā€™s now walking without any limp or struggleā€”and even finds the energy to chase a squirrel or two in the yard from time to time šŸ˜‚

Last summer, we noticed he had developed a cough. At first, we thought it might just be allergies, but after a visit to the vet, we learned he has CHF (congestive heart failure). That news truly shook our world and is part of why we stepped back from posting and running ads for a while.

Today, Kilo continues to prove everyone wrong. His medication has made a huge difference, and heā€™s still enjoying life with us. We know our time with our pets is never long enough, so weā€™re taking things one day at a time and making sure he feels just how loved he is every single day.

I wanted to share this update because so many of you showed incredible compassion for Kilo, even without ever meeting him. From the bottom of our hearts, thank youā€”not just for supporting him through his surgeries, but for the kindness and love you continue to show animals.

It truly means everything to us here at Gold Country Hauling.
