Attention Carriers : Did you know there is a platform that brokers and shippers can subscribe to called carrier 411 where they can monitor your company professionalism ,as a carrier and give bad reports on carriers as well for being unprofessional and unreliable. You can even get blacklisted on there, you never want to get a freight guard report against your company …….it makes it hard for you to get to loads, for a broker that is one of the places where they go to check you out and see if they want to take a chance on using you. Before a broker can put a freight guard on your company one or more of these criteria have had to be met, unauthorized or re-brokering of a shipment, no-show no call canceled after excepting load, held load hostage backsolicit a shipper, in transit agreement modification, theft or unjustified loss of FREIGHT persistent canceling, unresolved claim issues, repeated pick up or delivery service failures, fraudulent activity, unethical or deceptive business practices. If you canceled the load they can submit a freight guard report on your company but you will receive a copy of that report as soon as it's filed by Fax or email and you will have 72 hours to be able to respond to the report and present your side of the story and give your proof of why you canceled, you only have that one chance to respond to the freight guard within that 72 hour period and if you do not the freight guard stands against your company.
