A little reintroduction felt overdue ๐
Iโm Nicky Bee, the person behind Great Lakes Event Works.
Most of what I do happens before the public ever sees the event โ the sponsor follow-ups, vendor details, forms, timelines, spreadsheets, phone calls, and all the โwaitโฆ whoโs handling that?โ moments. ๐
Itโs not always the glamorous part, but itโs the part that keeps events from turning into full-blown chaos.
I started Great Lakes Event Works because I love community events, but I also know they take a lot more than good ideas and good intentions. They need structure, communication, follow-through, and someone willing to keep track of the moving pieces.
Thatโs where I come in. ๐
I help with sponsorship planning, vendor coordination, event logistics, and the behind-the-scenes systems that help events run smoother and make more sense for everyone involved.
