The snow has been falling everyday for weeks now. It's a great time to get on the hill and ski!

Sunday Snow Check

Last Sunday at this location north of the airport in Driggs, there were 6 inches of snow on the ground. This morning, there are 11 inches.

Between last Sunday and today, 10.4 inches of snow fell. About half of it melted or sublimed or compacted. More significantly, the rain and melted snow that fell equaled a 1.02 inch rainfall. In an average January, we get less than 2 inches of rainwater equivalent. 2025 is off to a flying start for water here.

Up on the ski hill, the base depth is now reported as 75 inches, 8 of which fell in the past 48 hours.

"If you can see, then your not at the 'Ghee", typically refers to the fog that sometimes rolls in. However, we tend to find that the most accurate on the deep days Grand Targhee Resort is famous for.
