A reminder that through the Residents on the Move program, MATA and Whole Child Strategies provide free transportation for Klondike and Smokey City residents to access healthy food and essential resources!

Operating every Tuesday and Saturday, this program offers free rides to destinations like Cash Saver and Catholic Charities, helping bridge the gap for families living in food deserts.

Since launching in 2021, Residents on the Move has helped riders connect to healthier food options and vital services, creating stronger, healthier neighborhoods for all. 🚍💚

Big smiles, little readers, and a whole lot of imagination!

We’re still feeling the joy from the grand opening of the Pinwheel Playroom, a space designed for our youngest riders and their families to fall in love with reading at the William Hudson Transit Center.

This special space was made possible through the vision of the Urban Child Institute and the incredible support of our community partners: Porter-Leath, Literacy Mid-South, Memphis Public Libraries, WKNO’s Teacher Teacher, local author Mykerah Mackey-Robinson, and the City of Memphis Office of Community Affairs.
