I have a most rewarding job. We drove someone back to their home they haven’t been in for six months due to an infection that left them a paraplegic. A family member who has made a number of phone calls just to me alone, (not counting all the other arrangements they have had to make) greets me with such thankfulness and a warm hug and more words of gratitude before we left.
Having the means and the ability to serve others in this capacity is a gift. It’s a joy and a pleasure. You see, it’s more than just a ride?
Now I continue to pray for this family and all goes well for them as they settle in and continue to make huge, huge adjustments and changes to their lives that have been turned upside down, around and around and around again.
Makes one ponder why some make mountains out of mole hills, unnecessary drama, unforgiveness leading to bitterness and dissension when really, your life could flip flop in a heartbeat like the folks we encountered today.
Count your blessings and cast the pettiness aside is my counsel for the day folks.
Life is too short!

Foxy and Friends from Fox News Seattle visited Burlington, WA yesterday, promoting Berry Dairy Days, Skagit Speedway, Helping Hands Food Bank and Wingz & Thingz.
Tiffany showed me some editing tricks on my new iPhone and mentioned the ChatGPT App.Hoo boy! I’m going to have too much fun playing around with this new toy. Sorry in advance! 🤣

Fox 13 Seattle Zip Trips Burlington covered Berry Dairy Days, Helping Hands Food Bank, Skagit Speedway, and Wingz and Thingz.
What a blast! If you didn’t make it out, sorry, you missed out. Tiffany and I had no idea what to expect and we had so much fun and laughs.
The news crew obliged me with photos in front of Kricket, the van. What a fun crew!

I visited The Gardens in Marysville recently to personally meet Nicole after having had a phone conversation with her. I was armed with business cards, trifolds and a little gift for Nicole. I was met with kindness and enthusiasm from her. She grabbed a holder for my information and showed me where to display them. 😃
