Our friends at Gaptrail.org have announced a temporary closure on the Pittsburgh portion of the Great Allegheny Passage from roughly mile marker 136-138. Bill’s is offering shuttle service around the closure, by-appointment.

We are a private, commercially licensed and insured, independent transportation company out of Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to our regular customers in the metro area, we also specialize in long distance bike shuttles and luggage transfers to many points along the GAP trail and beyond. We work hard to accommodate all requests, no matter how specific your situation may be (bike boxes, airport pick up, pets, etc.)

Bill’s has been a presence on the GAP trail for years, and we have been expanding our services to include transport to destinations like Cumberland, MD, Washington DC, Northern Virginia and more! We are familiar with many businesses along the GAP, and have years of experience in moving people and/or their bikes. If you have a question about a pickup location or a specific situation, please don’t hesitate to ask.

You’re never alone on the trail! In the unlikely event that you run into a problem, we provide emergency pickup service, day or night. If you’re too far from us to get to you in a reasonable amount of time, we can help you find someone in your area.

Although activity on the bike trail is rather seasonal, we are available year round for your business needs in city or to long distance destinations outside of Pittsburgh including: Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Erie, Falling Water, Seven Springs, and many more.
