Thinking about starting CDL training? Here's what enrolling at United looks like! 🚛

To qualify, you need to be at least 18 years of age, have a valid ID, social security card, and high school diploma or GED, and pass a physical and drug screening. No prior truck driving experience is required. Once you meet those requirements, the process is straightforward: submit your application, meet with an admissions rep, review the program catalog, sign your enrollment agreement, and start training!

We are a family-owned school and FMCSA-certified under ELDT standards. Our admissions team takes the time to understand where you are starting from and will help you take the next step into your truck driving career journey!

We offer two entry-level CDL programs in Southern California, and neither requires prior experience to enroll! 🚛

Our Class A CDL program prepares students for careers behind the wheel of semi-trucks, covering both OTR and local routes. Students earn endorsements in Airbrakes, Doubles/Triples, Tanker, and HazMat!

Our Class B CDL program is built for drivers who want to stay local. It qualifies graduates to operate passenger buses, delivery trucks, dump trucks, tow trucks, and utility vehicles with endorsements in Passenger, HazMat, and Tanker!

There are four questions we get asked before almost every enrollment. Here are our answers! 🚛

1. Do I need prior truck driving experience to enroll?
No prior experience and no CDL permit are required before day one!

2. How long does it take?
The Class A CDL program lasts four weeks. Our Class B CDL Program lasts 3 weeks.

3. What is the difference between Class A and Class B?
Class A qualifies you for combination vehicles, covering OTR, regional, and local routes. Class B qualifies you for vehicles including dump trucks, delivery trucks, and tow trucks.

4. Will United help me find a job?
Yes, graduates receive job placement assistance. We offer opportunities for our graduates to connect with carriers who are actively hiring!
