FORMER NASA SPY STATION FOR SALE IN NC: This is wild! An old Cold War spy station hidden in the NC mountains is for sale.

If you have a cool $30 million, you could own the 192-acre site, full of 1960s NASA technology.

It opened in 1963 as a satellite tracking station for NASA. It supported missions like the Gemini Program and captured some of the earliest images of earth from space.

By 1981, those same satellites were being used for surveillance during the Cold War.

The Rosman Research Station was off limits to the public, tucked away in a remote location in Pisgah National Forest. It even has underground tunnels running beneath the facility.

It closed in 1995, but was eventually taken over by a non-profit that allowed tours, sleepovers and high-quality star gazing. The site includes more than 25 telescopes, a planetarium, data centers, labs, radio arrays and much more.

Who else would buy this place just to EXPLORE it??
