Thuy Xuan incense village is known for its long-standing tradition of making incense in Hue. This place also attracts virtual believers by the brilliant scenery of multi-colored bouquets of green, red, purple, and yellow incense.

Hue is not only famous for destinations that have made up the soul of the ancient capital such as poetic Perfume River, the Citadel- Imperial City of Hue, Thien Mu pagoda; many temples and royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors; but also the homeland of a lot of cultural heritages and unique craft villages, notably Thuy Xuan incense village.

About 7 kilometers from the center of Hue city, Thuy Xuan Incense Village located at the foot of Vong Canh Hill is a place that tourists cannot take their eyes off of.

Nestled at the foot of the poetic Vong Canh Hill and by the Perfume River, Thuy Xuan Incense Village is one of the most ancient craft villages in Hue ancient capital city. It is a beautiful incense making village in Hue city. As you know, most of the households in the village engage in making incense. So the whole village is alight as a rainbow of colored bamboo sticks associated with the aroma of sandalwood; cinnamon, lemongrass, etc pervading the air from early morning to the late afternoon.
