Job Description:
NEMT Transportation company is currently seeking part-time and full-time non-emergency medical transportation drivers who are compassionate, caring, reliable and responsible. Will be transporting ambulatory clients to and from medical appointments, hospitals, dialysis centers, physical therapy, as well as cancer treatment centers, etc. in a safe, secure and professional manner.
We take the current situation seriously, our drivers and clients are required to wear a mask.
PPE are also provided for all drivers.
Job Responsibilities
• Transporting clients to appointments, treatments and dialysis utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manor.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
• Maintain a professional image and attitude regarding clients and coworkers.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist clients as needed to safely enter and exit the vehicle and to and from their destinations.
• Understand and operate GPS on cell phone.
• Understand and utilize transportation app provided.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Must have previous customer service experience with a good track record of assisting customers in a thoughtful, caring and timely manner
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and NOT been suspended.
• NO MOVING VIOLATIONS in the last 3 years, no need to apply if so.
• Must have a clean background check and driving record and pass a drug screen
• Available to work varying hours between 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Must have a stable work history with a track record of being reliable and ON-TIME
• Must have a MINIMUM of a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to perform

We have both full-time and part-time positions. Days and hours of work vary by schedule. Early morning and an occasional holiday may be required as schedule demands. Typical hours are 5:30am-3:00pm, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays.
