What’s not to love about these transfers? Beautiful seascape views, winding roads and that feeling you get when you’re close to the water. There really is something rather special about being beside the sea.

Today we’re assisting one of our long-standing customers, someone we’ve been fortunate enough to help with numerous journeys over the years. And when I say numerous, I mean we’ve clocked up some serious miles together! Dartmouth, Kingsteignton, Minehead, Norfolk, Norwich and London have all featured, with plenty of other destinations thrown into the mix along the way.

Over the years I’ve spent many hours behind the wheel listening to her stories about life, travel, people and everything in between. That’s one of the things I particularly enjoy about this job. You start off as someone’s driver, but after a while you get to know your customers, hear their stories and become a familiar face they know they can rely on. Some of those conversations have been genuinely fascinating and, at times, incredibly inspirational.

And then there’s the other reason I’m always particularly happy to see her name appear in the diary…

There’s apparently a very strong correlation between providing an executive transfer and being supplied with confectionery. I’m certainly not going to challenge the science behind it!

Joking aside, we’re incredibly grateful for the loyalty and trust our customers place in us. WOW… WHAT A DAY FOR BOOKINGS! ✈️🚘

It’s certainly been a busy one behind the scenes at DM Executive Private Hire, with next week already looking exceptionally busy.

We currently have 16 Heathrow transfers booked in for next week, making Heathrow our busiest transfer destination by some distance. We’re also incredibly proud to be assisting a Bromsgrove business with a number of these journeys. They’ve trusted us with their executive travel for several years now, and we genuinely value the confidence they continue to place in us.

And Heathrow isn’t the only airport keeping us busy… we’ve also got 20 Birmingham Airport transfers booked in. Also serving a number of other airports too. Needless to say, the diary is looking rather healthier than the driver’s coffee supply! ☕😂

With so much uncertainty around the world, I honestly expected there might be a lull in travel and airport transfers. Thankfully, that certainly hasn’t been the case. In fact, we’re busier than ever, with more and more customers choosing us to take the stress out of getting to and from the airport.

We’ve already got more than 30 Heathrow transfers booked for January and February 2027, which is fantastic and gives us plenty to look forward to as we head into the new year.

To keep up with demand, we now have several trusted professional drivers supporting our workload, allowing us to accommodate multiple bookings while maintaining the high standards of service our customers have come to expect.

Every journey is carried out in one of our executive vehicles, with comfort, reliability and a professional service from collection to destination.

✈️ Last Transfer of the Day

That’s the last transfer of the day for me, and what better way to finish than assisting six friends heading off to Dubai to celebrate a 50th birthday! 🥳🇦🇪

The Mercedes V-Class really is the ideal choice for group airport transfers. Six ladies travelling together can only mean one thing…six very large cases! 😂 Thankfully, the V-Class has a rather impressive appetite for luggage and swallowed the lot without so much as a complaint.

A big shout-out to all of our fantastic associates who have been out assisting with airport transfers today. It’s been another busy one, with vehicles heading in all directions.

Now it’s time to park the V-Class, put my feet up and call it a day.

📱 Sometimes going the extra mile is quite literally what you have to do…

You’ve just dropped a client at Heathrow, you’re heading home and you’ve made it past High Wycombe when suddenly… a phone starts ringing in the car.

Only problem? It’s not your ringtone. 😳

You quickly realise your previous passenger has left their phone behind.

Now you have a choice.

Carry on towards your next job and hope they manage without it… or turn around and drive all the way back to Heathrow to return it.

I’ve heard stories of taxi drivers who would simply wind the window down and launch forgotten belongings onto the pavement with a “Not my problem!” attitude. 😂

Well… that’s not our style.

We know how important a phone is these days. And when you’re travelling abroad, being without it can leave you completely scuppered.

So, there was really only one decision to make.

🔄 Turn around. Head back to Heathrow. Return the phone.

The only downside? It meant I no longer had enough time to get home, change and jump into the Mercedes V-Class for my next transfer.

A surprise phone call today that genuinely caught me off guard. 😀

I’m not going to say too much just yet… but let’s just say there could be some interesting developments on the horizon.

Could a completely unexpected career move be on the cards? 👀
