RideFlag is excited to be under contract with the Utah Department of Transportation to pilot its proprietary app-based facial differentiation technology on the I-15 Express Lanes to accurately count people in vehicles claiming HOV benefits. The I-15 Express Lanes are the longest in America at 72 miles in length. RideFlag is engineered to significantly improve HOV compliance and Express Lane performance, which as a result reduces congestion and can save toll operators millions of dollars in revenue loss and roadside enforcement.

On June 9-12, 2019 RideFlag will be attending the Annual Technology Summit in Anaheim, California. We'll be giving a sneak peak into RideFlag's new occupancy validation for organizations that manage parking, tolling and HOV infrastructure. The RideFlag team is here in Copenhagen at the ITSWC demonstrating how our technology mitigates congestion on European roadways by reducing single occupancy vehicle use. In addition putting RideFlag to the test on Copenhagen streets, our technical team configured geofence trigger points on Öresund Bridge (which 20 000 commuters use to travel from Copenhagen to Sweden every day) to demonstrate how our digital occupancy validation technology works with bridge tolling operations.
