Women in Aviation - Middle East to join AFRICAN AIR EXPO 2024

The African Air Expo 2024, to be held in February 2024 at the prestigious Cape Town International Civic Centre (CTICC), is proud to welcome the internationally-acclaimed “Women in Aviation” (Middle East) Association which boasts strong associations around the world. The Women in Aviation Middle East Chapter is a non-profit association dedicated to providing opportunities to women striving for careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
The African Air Expo fully supports initiatives that encourage women to consider opportunities in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Women in Aviation will lead a dynamic and an inclusive 1-Day program and workshop at the African Air Expo and Convention during the 13th of February 2024 with more than 400 guests geared to attend. The “Women in Aviation” segment of the African Air Expo program will feature South African, African and international stakeholders with a view towards making a statement to the African Continent that women will also feature as tomorrow’s leaders within the Aviation and Aerospace industries.

Commercial Aerospace Manufacturing Association of South Africa has been named official Partner of African Air Expo 2024.

The Air Expo, 1st Aviation Convention & Exhibition for Africa, will be held in the Cape Town International Convention Center (CTICC) from 12th to 14th February 2024.
The agreement was signed on Friday 1st of Sept, by Mr TJ September, Chairman of CAMASA and Mr Mobeen Motara on behalf of the Air Expo.
The aim of African Air Expo is to further connect the Aviation industry and provide the perfect platform for professionals across all areas of the industry and promote a successful worldwide trade show.
With more than 100 aviation companies in South Africa, exporting in excess of R3.0b annually and employing 3 000+ people in high skill jobs, our participation in the Air Expo aims to convey to the international aviation community that South Africa offers an enabling environment for the growth of the aviation sector – both from a manufacturing and from a commercial perspective” said Mr TJ September, Chairman of CAMASA.

The Air Expo will be the first of its kind in AFRICA to attract more than 15,000 attendees in a convention format (conferences, workshops, seminars) and exhibition for more than 300 companies at the CTICC, and a fantastic static display with more than 40 aircraft at the Cape Town International Airport (CTIA).

Adone Events Launches African Air Expo SA
The First International Aviation Exhibition for South Africa

Adone Events is excited to announce the launch of the African Air Expo SA, the first International Aviation Exhibition for South Africa. The event is scheduled to take place in Cape Town from February 12th to 15th, 2024 and will cover the growth of the aviation sector, as well as complementary industries such as tourism, cargo, and human capital development.

The event will feature an exceptional 3-day static display of 100 aircraft, making it the first of its kind on the African continent.

The African Air Expo SA aims to become a global gathering point for the aviation industry in a successful worldwide trade event. The event will attract different skills from the aviation sector, including Commercial Aviation, MRO, Business & General Aviation, Airport Infrastructure, Human Capital Development in Aviation, Air Cargo, and eVTOL - The Future of Aviation.

The event will also focus on the latest trends, training, and recruitment within the aviation industry, empowering through training. The African Air Expo SA aims to provide an opportunity to learn about careers, exchange ideas, address the challenges which face Human Capital Development Needs in SA, ask questions of industry experts, and enjoy a hands-on experience within the general aviation industry.

The African Air Expo SA targets commercial & general aviation exhibitors who will come together on a static area. The exhibition will be at the CTICC hall and will host more than 300 booths where exhibitors will showcase a full range of aviation services and products. It is anticipated that aviation equipment suppliers, avionics companies, airport facility providers, infrastructure experts, security, and air traffic control companies, among others, will use the opportunity to present their products to the burgeoning African aviation marketplace.

Delegates will include airlines, aircraft owners, operators, pilots, aviation enthusiasts, trainees, aviation executives from across the sector, industry experts, and regulatory bodies, all wishing to learn more about the latest trends and products in the African General, Business, and Commercial Aviation sector.
