We are excited to introduce Mr. Martin Studte, a seasoned professional with a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin and a Master’s in Vocational Education and International Innovation from the Technical University of Munich. Martin has extensive experience in the solar photovoltaic sector in Germany and 15 years in Brazil’s consulting industry.

Since 2015, he has been working with German cooperation (GIZ), coordinating energy and skills-related projects in Brazil. In 2024, Martin relocated to South Africa to serve as Technical Advisor for the Just Energy Transition within the GIZ skills cluster, where he continues to drive impactful projects in the energy sector.

As the Chief Executive & Owner of Kwa-Sisonke Logistics, Mr. Del Fava is deeply committed to transforming the maritime, freight forwarding, and customs clearing industries.

He is a member of the Transport Minister's Integrated Transport Sector B-BBEE Charter Council, playing a key role in driving transformation in these vital sectors. Mr. Del Fava is also the President of the South African Maritime Cluster Alliance (SAMCA) and the founder of several Maritime Clusters across South Africa, including Buffalo City, eThekwini, and Richards Bay.

We are proud to introduce Dr. Faith Mashele MBA, FCIPS, Ph.D., a distinguished Faculty Member at the GIBS Business School in Johannesburg, South Africa. With expertise in Sustainable Supply Chains and Operations Management, Dr. Mashele is also a Fellow of the Centre for African Management and Markets (CAMM). Her global teaching and research efforts have spanned countries like Egypt, Rwanda, Ghana, and Zimbabwe.

With over 20 years of corporate experience, Dr. Mashele has held senior roles across various sectors, including banking, consulting, and education. She has been a leader in Procurement Strategy, serving as Head of the Procurement Centre of Excellence at Nedbank and Financial Director Expenditure at Tshwane University of Technology. Her work also includes strategic initiatives during her tenure at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC).

With over 19 years of experience in the Customs and Excise environment, Sipho provides expert advice, training, and support to clients to ensure compliance with legislation. He joined SNG Grant Thornton in 2023 after spending 13 years at TotalEnergies, where he worked closely with key industry stakeholders such as SARS, Transnet, and logistics companies.

Sipho also has extensive experience in auditing and policy development, having represented TotalEnergies at the Fuels Industry Association of South Africa and worked with SARS on high-level compliance issues in the petroleum, to***co, wine, and cosmetics industries.

With over 20 years of experience in commercial law, Mr. Maphula has played an integral role in ECIC, serving in various key positions, including General Counsel and Acting Chief Operating Officer.

He holds multiple degrees, including an LLB and two LLMs, specialising in product innovation, political and commercial risk insurance, and more. His expertise spans cross-border investments, export finance, political risk, project finance, and sovereign lending.

Mr. Maphula has a proven track record in developing business strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share, with extensive experience in underwriting, deal structuring, and insurance claims.

With two decades of experience in the Justice, Crime Prevention, and Security Cluster, Dr. Masiapato has worked across various sectors, including police, defense intelligence, civilian intelligence structures, and the Financial Intelligence Centre.

Dr. Masiapato holds two Doctoral degrees, one in Literature & Philosophy from the University of Johannesburg and another in Philosophy from the University of Witwatersrand. He also holds a Master’s in Public Management from the University of Pretoria, an Honours degree in Public Administration from UNISA, and a Junior degree from the University of Venda. Additionally, he completed the Executive National Security Programme (ENSP) at the South African National Defence College.
