Exciting Leadership Transition at Diamond Bros.

After 13 and a half years of outstanding leadership, Kym McDermid will be retiring as Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Bros. on 30th April 2025. Kym’s vision, dedication, and strategic leadership have played a pivotal role in establishing Diamond Bros. as one of Australia’s top transport and logistics providers. His commitment to operational excellence and customer service has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success.

Beyond his contributions to Diamond Bros., Kym has made a lasting impact on the transport industry through his service as a Board Member and Public Officer of the South Australian Road Transport Association (SARTA) for the past eight years. His advocacy and leadership have helped drive industry-wide improvements and best practices. We sincerely thank Kym for his invaluable contributions and wish him the very best in his well-earned retirement.

We are also pleased to announce that Hector Balestri will be stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer from 1st May 2025. Hector brings extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, and operational leadership, having held key roles at Diamond Bros., Edwards Lifesciences, Bega Cheese Limited, and CHEP Australia. His expertise and passion for innovation will ensure that Diamond Bros. continues to thrive and lead the industry into the future.
