Had the good fortune of sharing a beer with Brandon, the proud new owner of Sweet Amber - Beer + Pizza on Semaphore Road. I always loved this spot having taken many groups there over the journey. Always have a great range of brews, not only their own – in fact quite the opposite – delicious pizza and that beer garden with space and live music.

Speaking of music, Brandon somehow has managed to pair his playlist with the beers. Extraordinary! So here is the Goss: plans are to keep all the good things about the existing establishment, then add flexible opening times for functions, a range of wine in addition to spirits etc, pizza-beer pairings, tap takeovers and collaborations and more.

This guy knows brewing, having built up a successful craft brewery in his native Alaska. The family are loving Adelaide and living in the West. So call in, tell him Partybus Steve sent you, and enjoy the next evolution of Sweet Amber!

PS: tinnies are now $8 every day and night!
