Soooo today is a milestone.... was 20 years ago today i boarded a plane here in Alice to Melb to pick up me old truck and first (secondhand) sidelifter all i can say it what a ride its been, now on my 3rd sidelifter, still have the original old primemover plus the 2011 prime mover, i cant thank my wife Andrea Hill enough for her support without her i doubt wed have acheived what we have, altho a small operation weve had a great ride, had some great employees along the way Lance Hill, Jared Dinning, Evan Pretlove, Taryn Barns, Rhiannon East, Roly Poly, and our interstate agents that are to numurous to mention, and the local community here, also extended family and friends that have been great moral support, Last but not least Carey Winton with out he's initial help it never would have happened, no this is not the end............. yet 😛

task this week delivering new 40' containers and domes custom made for our client at a place called Umawa in the APY lands far north SA total of 9 containers supplied and delivered, the others went to a variety of places in the area mainly just for storage..... we delivered they erected :) domes

Soooo tomorrow the new owner of my old originally new 2008 sidelifter comes and takes it away..... the old Mark 6 was custom built for me and the outback, and has weathered all i could throw at it, was the last non smartlift unit to come to Australia, will be sad to see it go but its been a bit of a garden ornament the last coupla years so needs to move on an be worked.
The company that has purchased it will use it to its fullest as they wanted a factory roadtrain unit that would also handle 10' units, and they wanted a heavy built machine to handle rough roads/outback tracks, so it ticks all there boxes :) will spend a few hours with new owners familiarizing them with the unit before it leaves Alice for good...... kleenex at the ready :P its been a great journey with the old machine and i know it will perform as required for the new owners.
