On Monday our merry travellers on our Brisbane Riverfire multiday tour made some lovely new friends!

A visit to the enchanting Summerland camels gave them a hands-on encounter with these gentle giants.

From there, they continued along a picturesque drive through the Scenic Rim and onward to the Granite Belt, town tour through Warwick and Stanthorpe, where heritage streetscapes and cool-climate charm complete the day’s travels.

𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

This year we will have up to six articulated (bendy) buses on display. These range from the very newest to some early examples from the 1980s.

1380MO is a bus that is not normally seen in Sydney. This bus began life in Perth at Transperth #3000. It is a Scania L94UA with Volgren CR228L body. The bus was purchased by Port Stephens Coaches and has been repowered with a Scania diesel engine and is normally operated around Newcastle.

Over the weekend our Brisbane Riverfire multiday tour travellers enjoyed a guided coach tour of the sights of Brisbane and a lovely cruise on the Brisbane River.

On Saturday it was the time for the high light of the tour with a rooftop dinner and the best view of the Brisbane Riverfire with a lightshow, fireworks and RAAF fly past.

As part of our Presentation Team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our buses and coaches are clean, well presented and ready to provide a premium experience for our passengers. This is a hands-on role that involves working around large vehicles and being on your feet for extended periods.

Morning shift 0300-1100, 5 days per week plus additional work available

This great shot from the Norman Chambers collection shows one of our old Volvo B6FA buses loading passengers for Newcastle on Shoal Bay Road, back in the day.

That vehicle may be long retired from service with us, but the plate lives on — MO-5075 now proudly rides on our Volvo B10M!

On day 2 of our Brisbane Riverfire tour our group of merry travellers wandered off the well-worn path, drifting along the scenic curves of the Summerland Way.

Midday found them at the Drayhorse Shires, where lunch is followed by a truly timeless experience: a horse-drawn carriage ride that meanders through the property at an unhurried pace.

Tonight, they will arrive in Brisbane, which will be their home for the next four nights. Stay tuned for more photos!
