The Wirraway is a fully aerobatic aircraft as military trainers need to be. Airshows are the best place to showcase the graceful aerobatics that the aircraft is capable of. Some things never change. April 25th Anzac Day seems to lie in wait with wet weather in SEQ. We’ve had weeks of blue skies until today!!
having been involved with Anzac flypasts for over 25 years on this region I can count on one hand the number of fine days for this occasion 🤦🏻‍♂️
Video shows me on ground at Maryborough waiting for the weather to clear for their flypast.
Thankfully it cleared and the flypast went ahead successfully

It was great to see Luke today for a half hour adventure flight in Miss Stress. He’s a real Trojan fan and operates his own RC Trojan model. I’ve gotta see it one day! Same livery but different nose art of course!
He enjoyed loops, rolls and other aerobatics then some nice cruising in the picturesque Sunshine Cost regions.
Warplanes is still at Caboolture operating as normal so come and see us if you’re in the area or if you want a truly unique experience for that special person.

Another lovely local family providing an ‘experience’ for dad on his birthday today. It was perfect weather and a great day out for everyone.
The birthday boy insisted on a full regime of aerobatics, beach runs and ‘fly over my house’. Warplanes complied of course! A great day and a great flight.
