💼 What we do:
From school runs to tourist transfers, corporate groups to sporting teams, we serve a wide variety of passengers every day. Some early starts and late finishes are part of the job.

📋 What we offer:
• Permanent Part-Time Position
• Starting pay: $33.58/hr (Mon-Fri. Paid at Award Rate with loading)
• Weekends/Public Holidays: Paid at Award Rate

🎯 What you need:
• Current Qld MR Drivers License or higher
• Current Qld Drivers Authority
• Strong customer service skills and local knowledge

Cairns Bus Charters is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team! 🛠️

We're looking for someone with strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance for a wide range of bus types. As part of our dedicated team you’ll oversee the maintenance of our fleet, which includes Toyota Commuters, Mercedes Sprinters, Mitsubishi Rosas, Higer Munros, BCI coaches, and BLK coaches (10-60 seats). 🙌🚍

💼What we do:
We operate a diverse range of services, including school runs, tourist transfers, corporate groups, and sporting team transport, ensuring that our passengers have a smooth and safe journey every day. 🌞🌴

📋What we offer:
• Flexible hours: permanent part-time position (20-37 hours), or full time (38 hours) ⏰
• Pay: enumeration to depend on your trade level classification (paid at Award Rate) 💸
• Work-life balance: Weekends/Public Holidays are generally not required; but if needed, paid at Award Rate 🏖️

🎯What you need:
• Current Qld MR Drivers License or higher
• Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in bus systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs (engine, transmission, brakes, etc.), as well as general servicing.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment used in heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Strong time-management and task-prioritization skills.
