Service Interruption: S140 Coffs Harbour - Orara

Time Frame: 27th May 2025 - 10th June 2025

Road Closure: Mount Browne Rd between Jacaranda Dr and Jaboh Cl

Coffs Council have closed Mount Browne Rd due to flood damage. The road is open to local traffic for access to residences.
It will be closed between Jacaranda Dr and Jaboh Cl until repairs works are completed.

The works are likely to be completed within the next 2 weeks weather permitting.

S140 Coffs Harbour - Orara, will continue to operate the route with following changes -

AM Service

This service will operate its normal route up to the corner of South Island Loop Rd/Mount Browne Rd, from this point it will head towards Coffs Harbour Via (L) Mount Browne Rd onto Upper Orara Rd (R) Coramba Rd thru the interchange to schools.

Passengers effected by this change can board the bus on the Corner of South Island Loop Rd/Mount Browne Rd (7:57) or Coffs Harbour Interchange (Roselands Dr @ 8:12).

PM Service

This service will operate the same route as the AM Service terminating at South Island Loop Rd/Mount Browne Rd.

Passengers effected by this change can alight the bus at the Coffs Harbour Interchange (Roselands Dr @ 15:56) or the Corner of South Island Loop Rd/Mount Browne Rd (16:30).

Council have allowed two weeks to complete the necessary works, however should the road be opened earlier we will return the route back to normal.

Gloucester Services Update For Monday

All services will run.
Affected short runs will be.
Stroud - will turn around at duralie mine entrance
Bowman Farm - no further than glory vale bridge
Upper bowman - no further than 2nd creek crossing on bowman river road.
Curricabark - will turn around at Coneac on curricabark rd.

S137: Eastbank Rd (Nana Glen PS)
S138: Coramba Rd (Nana Glen PS)
S140: Upper Orara (Coffs Schools)
S141: Dairyville (Coffs Schools)

Due to localised flooding and school closures, Newcombe Coach Lines will not be running any school services from the Gloucester Depot on Wednesday, 21 May 2025.
We will resume all services once it’s safe to do so. Please check for updates before heading out.
