We did a thing today ...

We bought a new shipping container for moving bikes from Melbourne to Perth on a fortnightly basis.
The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy as we fit it out to the standard we will require for the securing of our beloved clients bikes.

Fully enclosed, fully insured and fully excited.

When you consider that Moto Logistix started in Morley, WA around 12 years ago it seems appropriate that we become the best motorcycle transportation company for the Nullarbor crossing.

With our continuing efforts to be the best in this business, Moto Logistix is looking for a new MR driver based in Melbourne.
To start with, the position will be casual, one day a week, while training.
Eventually you will be responsible for the Melbourne to Sydney run which is weekly and can be 3-4 days a week, with up to 12hrs/day. Usually starting Tuesday.

If you are interested in this position, you will need:

* A motorcycle licence and motorcycle/s. If you don't ride, you cannot work for us.
* Preferably a HV licence.
* Extensive knowledge of motorbikes.
* A willingness to learn and listen.
* Good knowledge of fatigue management.

Obviously, all of our regular clients who are keeping up with the world events, will know that the price of fuel for our trucks has gone from $1.60/litre to $2.50/litre, with possibly worse to come.

As a small, personalised service, we simply cannot afford to carry this, so we have decided to add a "Fuel Levy".

This will be added on top of our normal price and the amount will be entirely dependent on fuel prices.

We truly hope that everyone understands the need for this measure and look forward to the day when we can dispense with this fuel levy.

Moto Logistix is looking for expressions of interest for a new part-time driver based in Qld.

You MUST ride. This is not negotiable.

The role will start as part-time, one day a week (Friday or Saturday) with the goal to go full-time, 4 days per week when, and if, our current driver retires later this year.

You will need a Medium Rigid truck licence as well.
