While I was out and about doing jobs today a young family saw our van and the sign writing on it advertising our business. They were genuinely interested and asked if there was enough work to support us ? We get this a fair bit, but I guess unless you need your animals transported or looked after in some capacity it's probably an unknown. So I thought I'd share what we've done today, which is just a typical day for us in our little local business π
First up was a drive to Ulverstone where the owners of two beautiful indoor cats are away for 10 days, we were greeted at the door by the boys who were eager for their breakfast, First up was their medication then the morning food and then cleaning out the litter boxes and we'll be back again this afternoon to repeat those chores.
Then off to West Ulverstone to do the same basic chores for two more indoor cats whose owners are away for 13 days. Food, water and litter boxes. Then prepare a meal for their big brother who is a 60 odd kilogram Rottweiler.
Followed by a drive back to East Devonport where we have eight days of duties for three indoor cats who like to misbehave while their owners away by knocking anything they can off the benches and opening cupboard doors looking for some extra food π€£ once again food, water litter boxes scratches and pats for these lovely cats.
Then whilst in East Devonport off we go to walk our beautiful greyhound sisters Raya and Raine , ambling round through the Wetlands the football ground and the suburbs for an hour enjoying the fresh air.
Then back to Devonport to pick up big bruiser the American staffy who is eagerly awaiting his walk. He can barely contain his excitement as he tries to drag me up the road but half an hour or so later he is calm and content again until next time. Once I have taken him back I then take his sister the gorgeous Bobbie on her walk, she is much more chilled but equally excited for her turn to smell everything along the way π₯°
And it's only 1 pm π
