A collection sent in by The first photo is of my grandad (Terry Bevege) sometime in the 80’s when he drove a C model Ford milk tanker for Noel and Joan Thomas, operating out of Maleny QLD (where my dad and his siblings grew up), the rest are photos I had sitting around of Bob Bagley’s fleet through the years that my grandad worked there as well (he isn’t pictured but he drove a few of the trucks that are), Lindsay Brothers started growing rapidly which led to him purchasing those 2 heritage series Western Stars (I believe they are both 4964F Cheyenne’s) in an attempt to compete with them, but his spontaneous decision eventually sank him in the end due to not having enough drivers to put in them and the debt overcoming the profits.
Bob passed away back in 2023 unfortunately.
