🚛 MC Truck Drivers Wanted – Mildura (Local Work)

KEWGS – K. Englefield Wine Grape Services is seeking experienced MC Truck Drivers for local Mildura-based work, commencing 10 January 2026.

🕘 About the Role

Transporting wine grapes

Majority of work within a 150 km radius of Mildura

Occasional trips up to 300 km

Predominantly night shift work – typically start times vary from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am

Local, repetitive farm-to-winery work

🔁 Typical Work Process

Drive from depot to vineyard/farm

UnPin 2 pins and unstrap the secure 1 strap for each bin (up to 20 bins per load)

Unload empty grape bins

Reloaded with full grape bins by farm operator with 5 ton forklifts.

Repin and strap loaded wine bins

Transport load to winery as stated on paperwork

Remove straps as required

Drive to the testing / sample stand for testing

Proceed to the weighbridge to weigh in

Follow winery instructions to the crusher

Unload via overhead gantry crane tipping directly into the crusher

Return to the weighbridge to weigh out

Complete and finalise paperwork

Repeat for the entire shift with communications to operations team,

🔒 Load Restraints & Bin Numbers

Each load consists of either full bins or empty bins

Up to 20 bins per load

Consistent restraint method: 2 pins and 1 strap per bin

💰 Pay & Conditions

Paid under MA8000039 – Road Transport and Distribution Award

Overtime rates

Night shift penalties

Ongoing seasonal work with a well-established local company

✅ Requirements

MC Licence

Forklift Licence

Fatigue management
Hub fleet EWD

Ability to read and write English for paperwork

Strong safety awareness

Can-do attitude

Ability to work well in a team environment

KEWGS team has much respect for the Mudie family, we have spent many years of grain harvest on their farms transporting grain for GLW. Such a huge loss to the Mudie family and community and our hearts are shatterd for the family. We are so proud to see how the community gathered like this to finish 2025 grain harvest.
